PLAN INTERNATIONAL SPAIN’s International Program Unit is looking for a passionate and skilled Project Manager/Business Developer. You’ll play a vital role in managing projects and driving business development globally, with a focus on green jobs and entrepreneurship through energy access projects, such as solar PV systems and mini-grids.
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Lead and manage project timelines and budgets, coordinate with external partners, oversee local offices, and ensure financial accuracy and donor reporting.
• Technical Expertise: Conduct feasibility studies, develop technical solutions, prepare procurement documents, and support financial models for sustainable energy projects.
• Business Development: Identify funding opportunities, negotiate with partners, analyze market trends, and prepare proposals for renewable energy projects.
Requirements:
• Educational Background: Degree in renewable energies, energy efficiency, sustainable energy, or climate change. Experience in international cooperation, economics, or finance is a plus.
• Experience: 1-3 years in energy sector project management, knowledge of financial mechanisms, and experience in development cooperation. International business development experience, especially in Africa, is advantageous.
• Skills: Fluent in French and English (Spanish is a plus), proficient in Microsoft Office, and capable of managing multiple projects under pressure. Strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and cross-cultural communication skills are essential.
